The seminar was carried out by the resource persons Kritartha Pratim Deka & Mrinmay Jyoti Deka on 29th March,2025. All the students hopefully got benefit from the talk given by them.

Parents Teachers Meet on 11/03/2023
The department of Statistics of Nalbari College began in 1981 with H.S. students. Under the headship of Mr. Pranab Choudhury, B.Sc regular course in Statistics was introduced in 1983. Later in the year 1986, two more permanent teachers posts had been introduced and then the teacher’s strength was increased to three in the department. In the year 2014, the department gave the first step towards major course. From 2016 onwards the total number of teachers increased to five after the appointment of two contractual teachers in the department. At present, one permanent teacher’s post lying vacant and a part-time teacher is working against the post.
From this department, the total no. of batches that have completed their B.Sc major course till date is five. And among these students, an average of 40 percent of students from each batch get enrolled or completes their PG course in different universities. Also, numerous outgoing students involve themselves in govt. and private jobs.
