| 93 | Talk on 'Nation, Language and Culture' | The Language and Linguistics Centre, Nalbari College, organised a talk on the topic ‘Jaati, Bhasha Aru Sanskriti’ (Nation, Language and Culture), on 21st September, 2024, at the college premises. The talk was delivered by Dr. Dilip Bora, Professor of the Department of Modern Indian Languages. In his lecture, Dr. Bora basically talked about the transitional phases that nations, cultures and Languages go through at different phases of history, with special mention of the current global scenario.
The talk was followed by an interactive session with the students. Altogether 88 students, 20 teachers attended the lecture. Dr. Kamal NAyan Patowary, Principal, Nalbari College, delivered the welcome address at the beginning of the programme, and Punyashree Bezbaruah proposed the vote of thanks at the end. | 2024-09-21 | View File |
