The notion of research (though in a rudimentary state) can be tagged to humanity since mankind developed the faculty of reasoning and analyzing. Research, fueled by curiosity is what propels humanity forward. It is the gradual and incremental evolution of human cognition that has led us to this very point in civilization, which brings us to the central metaphor why research matters. In contemporary context, research has become an intrinsic module of higher intellect in all spheres of human life. Apart from other areas, in the field of academics, research has a strong footing. Higher Education Institutions (HEI) across the globe have spent crores of rupees on multifarious research projects. In India too, regulating and accreditating agencies like UGC, NAAC etc. lay apt emphasis on research activities. Qualitative research remains a focal point of the NEP 2020. Under such backdrop HEIs have relentlessly working to improve the research atmosphere in their respective campuses. Our college is also a part of this continuous intellectual and academic exercise. The Research Committee of the college oversees the research related activities in the college campus and strives to create a research ecosystem by conducting various research related activities for empowering both faculties and students.
