The College has a dynamic NCC ‘ C’ Coy Army wing under 1Assam BN. C coy has its own glourious past. College raised its NCC wing in 1955 under 13 Assam infantry Bn.The Battalion HQ was at Nalbari College campus.(1963 - 1967)Then Commanding officer was Capt. Karuna kt. Sarma (full time) After ward College NCC Unit transferred to 5 Assam Bn. Tezpur,Assam. Later College NCC Unit was handed over to 1AssamBn. under Guwahati Group. The NCC officer who was serviced:- Major Jagannath Chakraborty Capt. Santaram Kakati Capt. Prabhat Ch. Sarma Capt. Karuna kt. Mudiar Present time, cadets have represented the North Eastern Region in different national level camps including Republic Day Parade and other NCC activities in many parts of the country. A number of cadets after obtaining ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificates have enrolled in different grades of the three services of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Some of the cadets are also recruited into Para-Military Forces, State Police Service and different administrative service posts. Besides Personality Development and Adventure programmes, the NCC Cadets are also trained in Map Reading and 0.22 riffle,7.62 mm SLR ,Carbine Machine Gun firing. NCC Cadets of the College have received the Best Cadet Award many times in various camps. The Cadets are committed to Community Development and other issues of public concerns. Some of the activities carried out by NCC ‘ C’ Coy are Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, Campus cleaning, Plantation programme, Anti-Tobacco Day observation, Blood Donation camp, Yoga camp, AIDS Awareness programme, & other volunteer programme etc. Nalbari College NCC 'C' Coy is also conducting An inter University / NCC Group Drill Competiton in regular basis since last Six years.
